No-Refusal, Admissions, and Exclusion Criteria:

YouthZone is committed to equitable access to services and does not refuse services based on race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability, language, insurance status, or ability to pay. YouthZone primarily serves youth and families referred by courts, schools, law enforcement, human services, and other community partners.

Admission to services is based on referral eligibility, program capacity, and alignment with YouthZone’s service scope. YouthZone may be unable to accept a referral when the youth does not meet program eligibility requirements, when the requested service falls outside of YouthZone’s scope of practice, when staffing capacity or safety considerations prevent appropriate service delivery, or when a higher level of clinical care, crisis intervention, or medical services is required. In such cases, YouthZone will make reasonable efforts to provide information on alternative community resources or appropriate referral options.
