Restorative Justice Specialist
Michelle Lundin, YouthZone’s Restorative Justice Specialist, was born and raised in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in education and environmental science at the University of Northern Colorado, and completed a master’s in special education from Mesa State University. Michelle is licensed in mediation. She has spent the last eight years working in the Roaring Fork School District. When she is not spending time with her husband and baby boy Nolyn Rio Lundin, she enjoys hiking, camping and being on the river.
As a community, we have always been strongly rooted through our relationships with one another. When we make mistakes, and we all do from time to time, it is important that the opportunity is given to repair harm through positive and honest communication. It is an honor to be part of YouthZone’s Restorative Justice program, because we’re able to work with the youth in our valley to provide opportunities to allow youth to grow and thrive.
