It's okay to ask for help.
As a parent, it's easy to get overwhelmed with your responsibilities. Whether it's work, friends, or family, you can start to feel isolated. At times, you may think you're the only one feeling this way. Asking for help may even feel like you're failing at being a parent. At YouthZone, however, we believe that seeking help is normal. We're here to support you and your family.
Our Youth Services are designed to help children thrive, giving both you and them a lifeline when faced with adjudication. At YouthZone, we are focused on transforming traditional challenges such as juvenile justice involvement into growth opportunities for parents, guardians, and their children.
YouthZone's one-time Parent Consultation and ongoing Parent Support Programs are designed to provide solutions, strategies, and support for tackling the everyday demands of parenthood. We empower mothers, fathers, and guardians to become compelling mentors, shaping their child's character and future.
Our Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) program allows parents an opportunity to connect with other families with children who are struggling with drug and alcohol use. In this 10-12 week program, parents can learn positive communication skills and healthy coping mechanisms to navigate challenges associated with youth drug and alcohol use.
We also provide mental health services such as family therapy and mediation in order to repair relationships between child and guardian, helping them move forward in productive and meaningful ways.
