Chief Operations Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer who is both deeply committed to this work and confident in their administrative experience. The ideal candidate brings experience managing organizational systems, cross-functional teams, and the operational infrastructure of a mission-driven nonprofit. Strong judgment in financial oversight, compliance, HR, and program administration is essential—as is comfort holding multiple functional areas simultaneously without losing track of the details. This is a role for a generalist leader who values clear systems, ethical stewardship of public and grant dollars, and steady behind-the-scenes leadership that lets direct service staff do their best work—in an organization that is past the start-up phase and focused on building infrastructure for long-term impact.

Grants and Compliance Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative professional to serve as our Grants and Contracts Compliance Specialist. This is a mid-level, non-supervisory position focused exclusively on post-award grant and contract administration, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate brings experience in grant compliance or nonprofit administration, comfort working across departments, and the ability to translate funder requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal staff. This role does not conduct grant research, write grant proposals, or lead fundraising strategy.

While we are not currently hiring for this position, we accept resumes for our Youth Advocate position on a rolling basis. Feel free to send us your resume and we'll keep it on file until a role becomes open.

With an analytical mind and a compassionate nature, Youth Advocates at YouthZone serve as coordinators, mentors, coaches and trusted adults for our youth clients. Youth advocates assess the strengths and the needs of each youth, then coordinate and monitor restorative activities, treatment plans, and other interdisciplinary care, while ensuring that court-mandated requirements are also met. On any given day, youth advocates may perform intake interviews, check in with clients, meet with parents, arrange resources, and complete reports and data entry.
