Lance Armstrong has given us some food for thought. He has said that he used drugs because everyone else was and so it was a level playing field in the competitive world of cycling. Wow, he is a father and I hope that his message to his kids has been different. If I asked 100 parents what they would tell their kids when they were pressured to use drugs, I would be hard pressed to find one that would say, “well, since everyone else is doing it, go for it!” Are you kidding me Lance? Just goes to show that most of us are incredible role models compared to the rich and famous, although they sure give us some great things to talk to our kids about how NOT to behave.
