Restorative Justice made the news in Denver.   School Resource Officers (SRO’S) at Denver Public Schools are now using Restorative Justice as an alternative to traditional discipline methods that result in suspension and expulsion.  They have discovered the benefits of keeping kids in school and out of court.  Under the new requirements of Senate Bill 12-046, the Smart School Discipline bill, restorative justice in schools is taking off.
