On Sunday, Septemeber 8, members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glenwood Springs volunteered at several projects throughout the community, including the Glenwood Springs YouthZone office. Volunteers Susan and John Gorman and Doug Straw went above and beyond the planned hour of service, and donated about five hours of their time! They repaired the porch, making it sturdier and safer. In addition, they helped with weeding the garden and landscaping, and helped paint a sign to be used in the annual Kiss ‘n’ Squeal fundraiser. Taking a break from the hot sun, they also helped with an indoor project for the Kiss ‘n’ Squeal fundraiser.
A huge thanks to these volunteers for the time spent and a job well done. What a privilege to be a part of such a generous community!
