Stepping-In for Change: Get On-Board with YouthZone’s Free Restorative Justice 101 Bilingual Training!
In our ever-evolving society, embracing transformative practices like Restorative Justice (RJ) fosters community healing and builds stronger connections. YouthZone is dedicated to providing an inclusive and enlightening platform on this crucial subject, and we’re pleased to announce our FREE Restorative Justice 101 Bilingual Training.
We welcome you to join us on Tuesday, March 26th, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Glenwood Springs YouthZone office (413 9th St., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601). This training is open to everyone interested in understanding the deeper layers of RJ, its historical roots, implementation strategies, eligibility, and volunteering opportunities.
The beauty of RJ lies in its commitment to mend societal fractures and regain balance through open dialogue, empathy, and finding common ground. By participating in our Restorative Justice 101 training, you’ll gain clear insight into its basic principles and operations. Plus, this session doubles as a prerequisite for anyone keen on joining the Restorative Justice Facilitator Training.
We understand life’s hustle and bustle, so we’ve arranged for dinner, taking one worry off your plate! We’ve got childcare sorted for those who need it, and if transportation challenges are holding you back, let us assist you there too. All are upon request, showing our commitment to making this event accessible for everyone.
