ROC was born out of the realization that in spite of existing charitable organizations, needs in the community are still going unmet. One factor is that those in need either do not know WHERE to go or do not know WHAT is being offered.

Rather than “reinvent the wheel” and create additional or duplicate services, the ROC’s mission is to serve as a community outreach RESOURCE & REFERRAL center, connecting those in need with appropriate services.

SO HOW DOES THIS WORK??

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

As a RESOURCE & REFERRAL agency we can refer the individual to the proper service where they may receive help with emergency medical bills, utility vouchers, prescription medications, housing vouchers, gas cards, bus passes, housing repairs, food & clothing.  We will also use what funds we have available to help.

VOLUNTEER TEAMS

Through our VOLUNTEER TEAMS we can help with such programs as Angel Tree; Senior Assistance; School Programs (Totes of Hope); and help the Latino community with ESL, and community & leadership integration.

RESEARCH

We will continue to identify resources and create solutions for unmet needs.
